- Is my data safe? Absolutely, this is very important to us! Our website is secured with an SSL certificate. Your email address and those of the people who participate in your pool are only used to send the results of the pool. Additionally, your data will not be used for anything else unless we clearly and explicitly ask for your permission.
- From what point in my pregnancy can I do this? You can create the baby pool as soon as you know you are pregnant. Even if you are 30 weeks pregnant, it's still fun to create the pool. You can choose which characteristics to guess and which to exclude. For example, if everyone already knows the gender, you can turn this option off, but people can still guess the weight, birth date, and more.
- My surroundings already know the gender of my baby, now what? You can choose what people can and cannot guess. If those around you already know the gender, simply don't check the box for gender when creating the pool. This way, they can guess everything else except the gender.
- What if I am giving birth to multiples? If you are giving birth to multiples, it’s best to create separate baby pools for each child. This can easily be done from the same account. That way, you can also order a booklet for each child.
- How can I invite people? Inviting people is very easy! Through your own pool page you can directly share a link via Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter, Telegram or email!
- Do the people I invite have to create an account? No. This is absolutely not necessary. People only need to leave their name and email address. We use the name to address people and for you to see which of your friends participated. The email address we use to send people an email with the results when your baby is born.
- How can I submit the results? On your baby pool page there is a 'Baby is born' button at the top right. If you click this you can enter your baby's birth data. Once you press 'Save and process' our system will process everything and calculate the points. Based on this, a ranking list will be created, which you can view directly on your pool page. The participants will also receive a message and can see how accurately they have guessed.

What is the points breakdown?
For each item you enable, people can guess and earn points. The points are as follows:
- Correct gender: 10 points
- Correct first letter of the name: 10 points, correct full first name: 25 points
- Correct hair color: 5 points
- Correct eye color: 5 points
- Correct weight: 10 points
- Correct length: 10 points
- Correct date: 50 points. 1 day off: 20 points, 2 days off: 15 points, 3 days off: 10 points, 4 days off: 5 points
- Correct time: 60 points. 1-30 min off: 30 points, 31-60 min off: 25 points, 61-90 min off: 20 points, 91-120 min off: 15 points, 121-150 min off: 10 points, 151-180 min off: 5 points

In the past, Baby-Hunch.com was always free—it was a fun hobby project we did on the side. In recent years, however, Baby-Hunch.com has grown tremendously, forcing us to generate income to cover all costs, such as servers and domain name. After thorough consideration, we have decided to implement a small flat fee per baby pool. The cost for a premium baby pool is a one-time fee of €4.95. If you choose to order the baby pool booklet directly, you will receive premium access immediately. Of course, you can try our tool completely free of charge. This means you can use all the features and have unlimited participants. However, only the first 5 participants will be visible until you upgrade.
- What is the baby pool booklet? The babypool booklet is a special upgrade to our babypool. It provides a fun reminder of your pregnancy. All the results of the baby pool are collected in a uniquely designed booklet. The front will be personalized with your baby's name, the top 10 rankings will be in the booklet, the birth data of your baby, but of course also the completed data of the participants. In addition, we ask each participant to leave a special message for your child, wonderful to read back later!
- What is the cost of such a booklet? The price of a booklet is €24.95 excluding shipping. It is very comprehensive. It is a deluxe hardcover A6 booklet with glossy pages and has space for up to 90 participants. Shipping costs: Netherlands: € 4,95 Belgium: € 6,95
- My baby is born, when can I expect the booklet? As soon as you confirm that your baby is born, we will start making your booklet. Within 24 hours we do a final check and send it to the printer. From then on, it takes about 5-10 business days for you to receive it.
- Can I return my booklet? Products you buy through this online store are custom made according to the specification you entered. Therefore, the right of cancellation does not apply. This makes the sale final after successful payment. If there is something wrong with your booklet, please let us know so we can solve this for you!
